Over the past three years, numerous studies have been conducted to conduct a comprehensive life cycle analysis and assess the carbon footprint of Fertisco Corrective/Plus products. These studies have involved considerable efforts aimed at understanding the environmental impact of these products at each stage of their life cycle, from production to use and final disposal. Through these in-depth analyses, we have gained valuable insights into areas where further improvements can be made to further reduce the carbon footprint of our products and thus promote a more sustainable approach to our business.
Comparing overall emissions, using Fertisco Soil Conditioner/Plus results in only about 5% of the total impact compared to limestone, based on the same functional unit and assumptions of this study.
The carbon footprint of the product, Fertisco Soil Conditioner/Plus, was verified by a third party using the Cradle to Gate approach.
